Scan & Go Collection Notice
Scan&Go is a functionality available at selected Woolworths locations that allows Everyday Rewards members to
scan
and pack your items as you shop. The Scan&Go App is a functionality within the Woolworths App. Scan&Go
Trolleys
are special physical devices.
This notice explains how we handle your personal information if you choose to use Scan&Go.

What information do we collect when you use Scan&Go?

Why do we collect this information?
We collect this information so we can:
- Provide you with the Scan&Go service, including:
- monitoring the items you scan
- verifying and processing your payment
- ensuring that Scan&Go Trolleys are maintained and do not go missing
- Understand your preferences, interests and shopping behaviours
- Send you offers that may be of interest to you
- Communicate with you about your purchases and orders
- Improve and personalise the goods, services and experiences we offer
- Investigate and respond to your enquiries and complaints
- Conduct investigations in cases of suspected fraud or data security risks or to improve our business
generally, including by monitoring or recording our interactions with you for training purposes
- Monitor the effectiveness or accuracy of our technology
- Comply with our legal obligations
If we do not collect this information, we may not be able to provide you with the Scan&Go Service.
Who do we share information with?
To provide the Scan&Go Service, we work alongside trusted third parties including service providers or
financial
services organisations or specialised service providers who assist us in our day-to-day business operations such
as fraud detection (when we process your payments) analytics, card authentication, payments and technology, or as
required by law. We may need to share your personal information with these organisations to provide you with
access to Scan&Go.
